Eva Hilderbrand believes clients should understand the appointment process, estimated charges, and service expectations before confirming a Mobile or Remote Online Notary appointment.
Quotes and Appointment Confirmation
Submitting a request does not confirm an appointment. Eva Hilderbrand will review the information provided and send availability and an itemized estimated total. The appointment is confirmed only after written confirmation from Eva Hilderbrand Notary. The estimated total is based on the information provided. Changes involving the number of signers, notarial acts, witnesses, location, travel, appointment time, document readiness, or service type may change the total.
Mobile Travel Service Charges
Texas notarial fees are separate from mobile travel and other non-notarial service charges. When applicable, mobile travel, after-hours service, waiting time, parking, tolls, witness coordination, printing, or similar charges will be disclosed before the appointment is confirmed.
Signer and Document Readiness
All signers, identification, witnesses, and complete documents should be ready at the confirmed appointment time. If required information, identification, witnesses, or documents are not ready, the appointment may need to be delayed, rescheduled, or declined. Any applicable waiting-time policy or charge will be disclosed before confirmation.
Cancellation and Rescheduling
Please provide notice as soon as possible when an appointment must be canceled or rescheduled. A disclosed cancellation, travel, preparation, or platform-related charge may apply when travel has already begun, reserved appointment time has been significantly affected, or nonrefundable costs have already been incurred.
Remote Online Notary Costs
Remote Online Notary appointments may include authorized online-notarization fees and separate technology or platform costs. Identity-verification or platform charges may become nonrefundable after the online process has started, subject to the platform’s applicable terms.
Payment and Refund Review
Payment timing and accepted payment methods will be confirmed in writing. Refund requests will be reviewed based on whether services were completed and whether travel, preparation, identity-verification, or platform costs were incurred. Notarization does not guarantee that a document will be accepted by a receiving party.
