Can you notarize or certify a birth certificate, marriage license, death certificate, or divorce decree?
No. These are official recordable documents and cannot be notarized or certified as copies by a Texas notary. Certified copies must be obtained from the government agency that maintains the official record. Eva Hilderbrand may be able to notarize an eligible affidavit or supporting document when it already contains appropriate notarial wording.

The final price depends on the appointment location, travel distance, time requested, number of signers, number and type of notarial acts, and any special facility or service requirements.
